About us
For more than 100 years the GERB group is specializing in solving vibration problems in a wide range of applications, supplying elastic support systems for the active vibration control (source isolation) of many metal forming machines and for power plant equipment, to reduce at the same time foundation size and cost. In passive isolation sensitive equipment and even entire buildings are protected against vibration caused by traffic or nearby machines. It is also our ambition to find innovative solutions for an affordable earthquake protection of structures in earthquake prone countries.
Finally, GERB spring mass systems will provide a vibration controlling interface between rail trackbeds and nearby buildings.

GERB vibration isolation systems consist of spring elements and Viscodampers®. The helical compression springs provide the soft support for high isolation efficiancy, the Viscodampers®, acting as shock absorbers, stablize the equipment. They are applied to the vibration control of metal forming equipment (forging hammers and presses), machine tools, shredders, compressors, centrifuges, test stands and textile machinery to protect people and nearby sensitive equipment from vibrations at the work location, and also the neighbourhood (receiver isolation) aganst disturbing vibrations and structureborne noise.
