This system is already established in many applications involving electronic access Management on PCs and control systems. The user employs the Electronic-Key with RFID transponder to identify himself to the Electronic-Key adapter. Thanks to the special design of the Electronic-Key adapters, the Electronic-Key can be placed on the installation during operation.

High machine availability with safety switch CES-C07 and safety module ESM-CB

The CES-C07 supplements the familiar and frequently used option of connecting sensors in series by adding much more comprehensive diagnostics. Even better: the devices provide process-relevant parameters in real time, thereby guaranteeing information for preventive maintenance. The sensors measure relevant parameters in the surroundings to indicate problems before machine failure can occur. This system can even detect tampering attempts.

Guard locking safety switches CET

The guard locking CET safety switches use transponder technology to protect guards and doors. Due to the design of switch and actuator, there is a high mechanical clearance which enables easy mounting and adjustment. Highlights at a glance:

Communication at Industry 4.0 Level

Measuring only 18 mm in width, the slimline safety module ESM-CB is multifunctional: it is an evaluation unit, safety relay and IO-Link device in one. Everything you need to secure a small machine.

A special advantage is the option of transmitting all relevant sensor and device data via IO-Link.

You can connect two safety circuits to the inputs: one with which the device can monitor an emergency-stop chain or the switching contacts of mechanical safety switches. Another one is used for evaluating a switch chain comprising the new safety switches CES-C07. Two redundant, safe relay contacts enable the direct switching of loads up to 6 A mps.

The safety module is in a constant dialog with the connected devices, polling each sensor for information including the system state, the ambient conditions, and the sensor’s data such as the sensor type and version number.

This allows you to communicate at Industry 4.0 Level.

Safety switches for ATEX applications
In potentially explosive areas, devices which comply with the ATEX directive, need to be used. EUCHNER
transponder-coded safety switches are ATEX devices according to categories 3D/3G. The safety switches are
available without or with monitored guard locking.

CTP meets MGB – the compact safety door protection device MGBS
Why not combine the best features from different products? Take a CTP transponder-coded safety switch, mount it on a sturdy sub plate, combine everything with a MGB handle module, and what you get is the compact safety door protection device MGBS. This is the ideal solution wherever a slimline switch housing is advantageous, such as on safety fence corner posts.

Concealed mounting holes in the handle module and lock plate protect against tampering. A lockout bar is additionally integrated into the handle module to prevent the machine from starting during maintenance or cleaning work, for example. A simple plug connection reduces wiring work.

The system is optionally available with an emergency stop device and with controls and indicators. The resulting MGBS is a slimline safety door protection device with the properties of a MGB.

Thanks to the transponder technology, the system achieves category 4 / PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1, without additional fault exclusion. It complies with all the requirements of EN ISO 14119. With its high degrees of protection IP 65, IP 67 and IP 69K and a locking force of 3,900 N, the MGBS is an all-rounder for demanding Environments. Further reading
